BERNARD WINCIG (1931 - 2013)
The founding partner, Bernard Wincig graduated from Long Island University, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School.
Soon after graduating, he entered private practice and established a law firm in 1961 on Fifth Avenue, at New York City’s famous Diamond District,
and remained at that location for 47 years. In 2008 the law firm transitioned to its current location at 137 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10010.
Bernard Wincig was admitted to practice in New York State courts (1961), the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York,
and the United States Tax Court.
